Wow! OMG! Fucking hell!! The Motorola Razr is back!

I don’t really write anything ever to do with tech - but this has caught my eye in the last couple of days!

The Motorola Razr was one of my all time favourite gadgets 15 years ago! I had every version that was released! All the way up to the final version in around 2004 that had 2 screens - wow that was something back then! Then of course, Nokia and Blackberry started bringing out devices that were more akin to the smartphones we all use today!

Now, in 2019, the Razr is coming back!

Motorola recently announced a new version of the phone, again with dual screens, but with one major difference - the inside of the phone is one complete screen unit - which is foldable!

Of course, this new device is running android - which is massive news for fans of the old phone that use android these days!

Hello Moto

A 21:9 ratio OLED screen inside, similar to the size of the iPhone 11s, hits a resolution close to 4k. A lightning fast processor, 8gb of RAM - all sounds sexy to me!

The thing i’d be interested in of course is the camera. A 16MP camera on the rear, with a 5mp front facing camera should produce some good images.

The one and only drawback is of course, for me, android! We can’t have it all, and i’ll be sticking with my iPhone, but i can’t help getting reminiscent seeing this thing!

A spring 2020 release date in Europe means you’re gonna have to survive on the hype for a while. But, at least you’ll have time to save up the €1599 you’re gonna need to part with!
