Hey everyone! I hope you’re all staying fit and healthy out there! Especially now the next killer disease is on it’s way to destroy humankind!
I have of course not been concerning myself with rashes and puss filled things, but with my now regular month-end of activity of stalking myself online.
First off, this image has been doing the round the last couple of weeks following the sudden death of Depesche Mode tinkler Andy Fletcher. Big losses in the music world seem to be coming thick and fast recently!

May was a month of pure press bombardment! Over 40 separate jobs hitting the regional press throughout the month. Here’s some highlights:
MAY started off with a meeting with a former advisor to Michail Gorbatschow. Professor Grinberg decided to leave Russia after Putins forces Invaded Ukraine earlier this year.
As sporting seasons have drawn to a close, there has been action coming from all types of sport. I found myself shooting sport i’ve never even seen live before - these being Hockey, Handball, Basketball and Waterball (translated from the German name - it’s basically handball in water).
One not-so-standard sport i shot this month was wrestling! Now, i did shoot WWE for Getty back in 2016, so I kind of had an idea of what to expect from my trip to Dockers in Duisburg.
I do hope Askelaad Gormsen was expecting this nipple-cripple!
Another trip to ‘Home’ in Duisburg to visit the latest incarnation of the ‘Plattenküche’ party-night, with DJ Eric Smax at the decks.
Finally, as i’m now tired of sifting through endless screenshots; the Nature-Swimming Pool in Mülheim finally opened it’s gates for the start of the season. The images from my visit made a splash (sorry) directly in the print-edition the following day:
24 hours later, the pool had to close for several days after failing a water quality inspection!
See you next month! Stay safe!!!
